Hi, joining this board again. My DS is almost 1 and DH and I have decided that we will TTC #2 soon. My concern is that I have very short cycles. I have been keeping track of them since AF returned after having my son and they range anywhere from 22-25 days, on average 23 or 24 days. This past month I kept track of my temperature and it indicated that I ovulated on CD 17 with a 7 day LP which is really bad! I went to a fertility specialist to conceive DS but I was hoping I didn't have to go back this time around.

Anyone have experience with short cycles and TTC?

Hello. I have had some short cycles. I also have PCOS and either do not ovulate or have weak ovulation. 7 days does seem short. Is your BBT chart showing your LP is only 7 days? If so, is it possible you could have ovulated sooner than what you think you did? If your LP keeps showing as short, I would talk to a dr.

I had a short cycle last month [9 day luteal phase]... I'm trying natural stuff first namely vitamin B6 and vitex. Google them & you'll see LOT's of information on both helping with short luteal phases. Also, red raspberry leaf supposedly helps regulation as well.
