Shortened cervix

I went to see my consultant today & she thinks I may have a shortened cervix due to previous cervical issues. This will mean I may not be able to carry our baby to full term.

I have a scan tomorrow but they won't be able to see what they want to until 16weeks when I go back for another scan.

Has anyone experienced this? thanks x

Yes I have this aswell I had allot of cervical tissue removed over the years so they've decided at 14 weeks to give a stitch or cerclege. I have my second consult on Monday I doubt il go full term and will be put on pelvic rest. Have they mentioned any procedures?
