Should I be upping my vitamin intake?

Currently I am taking a folic acid tablet every day, and have been since I came off the pill in August. I've seen a few of you post on here about taking prenatals - should I be upping my intake to something a bit more? I have a good diet and get my 5 a day most days - sometimes more - when I saw my GP about TTC in August she just mentioned folic acid, so I am not sure what to do! :shrug: I just want to do the right thing for the baby!
 
In my opinion, I take the prenatal because it has all the vitamins in it. I don't always eat very well, so it makes me feel better knowing that at least the vitamins are getting there. The fact that you eat well AND are taking Folic Acid (which IS the most important thing), means you should be just fine. I don't think however, that it would hurt you to take a prenatal (but wouldn't take more folic acid than necessary...what is in a prenatal is normally enough unless you have an underlying issue).
