I've ben suffering with severe morning sickness for weeks now but last night I got hit with a stomach bug. Resulting in a night of sickness and the other.

I feel completely drained and tummy ache I can hardly walk but I can't keep any fluids down. Should I ride it out abit longer our call the doctor out?

I got the flu with my first on top of all day sickness threw the whole pregnancy I only went in when I was dehidrated. They don't have much they can do! just keep up the normal broth and fluids

Thanks. Stupid question but how do I know when I'm dehydrated?

No such thing as a stupid question! I always look at my vains in my arm (where they take blood) if they look small then you want to go in. Mine like pop out so I always look there. But heads up when your dehidrated its hard for them to get an iv in! Ouch!

Thanks. My veins are still big and fat so ok. x

Getting on for 20 hours of no fluid #worried

If your worried call NHS direct, at least just to put your mind at rest. They will advice you what to do

I'd call Nhs direct or your GP as you don't really want to wait until you are actually dehydrated. You can also test by squeezing the skin on your hand. If it goes back to normal it's ok but if it stands up in the same position for a bit you are dehydrated.
Good luck!
X

If I were you, I'd definitely get to the hospital and get an IV. It's great that your veins are still fat, but trust me they can get from fat to flat very quickly when you're pregnant.
