Hi, I need some serious advice about my testosterone levels. My CD3 level is 2.6 nmol/L = 74.9 ng/dl and this is almost astronomical for a female TTCing. My doctor thinks it's not too bad but I have searched that anything above 50ng/dl is considered high.

I do ovulate regularly, my 2 previous cycles I Od at CD20. My LH:FSH ratio is also less than 2 and I don't have insulin resistance and am not overweight at all.

My testosterone is defo sign of PCOS. My question is whether I should still do something about my testosterone levels or it doesn't really matter since I can ovulate regularly.

Should I consider BCP at all?

Thanks, please no RnR.. I badly need people's advice.

Didn't wanna r&r but I'm not sure....

I would be inclined to say since you ovulate then there shouldn't be a problem bit I am no expert!

Hope someone comes along with the answers you seek :)

i wouldnt consider bcp personally, my testosterone came back imediately after stopping the bcp (its 2.1 random blood test) and i was on dianne which supresses androgens. I did have my shortest cycle at 44 days straight off it, then 80... now cd 54 and nothing as yet. i dont have insulin resistance either but i do have pco, hair loss, acne, anovulation, long irregular cycles. Metformin made me fatigued and im onto clomid at next AF

I should add i was on the bcp diane 10 years and got high testosterone symptoms back the first cycle off it.
