I am a pretty crafty person and I love doing all sorts of things. A couple years ago I started re teaching myself how to sew and I love doing it. I also am teaching myself to knit (slowly) and I love scrapbooking etc. I would pretty much like to do anything! I wanted a place that I could (as well as others) share some things they have made, knitted etc so its in one place and I wouldnt have to make multiple threads to show different items I have sewn and whatnot. With Madison on her way I want to sew many things for her so have made a blanket, baby leggings and I want to get into making diapers, wipes, baby tutus and other various things!!

Here is my latest sewn project. I made this tag lovey for my friend whom just had a baby girl!!

Heeey, love the tag blanket! I love the idea of making things for baby, especially cloth nappies! Will certainly be looking into it more when I am expecting.

I'm a scrapbooker / card maker, and also make invitations. Literally cannot wait to have children to scrapbook about - children pages are sooo much more fun than grown up ones! Here are a few of my pages, from a scrapbook I made OH for his 21st. I think they enlarge if you click on them... x

Those are lovely!! I have tons of scrapbook stuff but I dont ever use it lol I would love to get into but I can never find the motivation or people to do it with!! Kids would definitely be more fun to scrapbook!!

You should definitely try and do some when the baby comes - or even of the scan pictures? I have a 12x12 inch frame that I display my newest pages in when they are complete. I quite like the idea of getting one to put in the nursery, and doing a page with the scans or bump pictures in. That may be the perfect way for you to get motivated to use your stash!

Wow, you make those dolls? Uhh, TALENT!!

I have made a couple of blankets for LO; a lightweight buggy blanket, and a lightweight swaddling blanket - both made from pure cotton because it's in the high 30s here and she sweats a lot. But my sewing skills are pretty crappy, so they're all very basic; much like you would make a cushion cover!

Here taggies cost about £20, so I'm hoping to make one for her now, but personalised, perhaps with her name and DOB on it, so that she can keep it or pass it on to her kids if she wants to. Eventually I also hope to make a quilt for a single bed for when she's older, but the Cath Kidston material I want to include is wayyyy too expensive!

i make buggy covers at the moment.. i take orders from ebay on pramette and zia buggys cos thats the two I have, but recently did for free a freind ultima 8 in 1 pram.. she loved it! pics in my siggy

I am very arty crafty.. always have been.
I make my own jewellery, fascinators for weddings, cards, the odd dress or skirt for me, quilling.. crochet.. and my most popular is dough modelling.
love making things. x
the ONLY thing I havent done or tried is cross stitch / tapestry and scrapbooking

wow you ladies are very talented! i really enjoy arts and craftsy type things when i get motivated to do them, but it sometimes takes me a while lol. i made all my wedding invitations and table decorations which was really fun and i obviously had a deadline which helped me stay motivated. am currently (still!) working on a scrapbook of everthing to do with the wedding, right from the planning stages up to the honeymoon - my mum inspired me as when i was moving out of my parents' house i found a notebook she'd used to plan out her wedding and list any gifts they got, plans they made, etc. it made me think it would be great to be able to share mine and DH's wedding with our children someday.

i also do a little bit of basic sewing - cushion covers, etc, but nothing v skilled!

Ive started making nappy/celebration cakes for close family and friends .... Got the inspiration after I received a nappy cake when Ben was born

Sorry for intruding here ^^. I am the opposite end of crafty unfortunately , (I even sucked already in school at making bracelets and sewing etc.

What I have seen in here looks awesome though.
