Ok so I just had to share!! I just had my first baby shower and it was just an amazing event!!! Amazing turn out of like 30+ people and people really outdid themselves with gifts! I just can't believe how amazing it was an how people outdid themselves!

I will post pictures when I get them from other peoples' cameras but wow! What an amazing night!!!

Thanks ladies, it was awesome I never had a wedding shower or reception and didn't do any of that registry stuff then so it was a great experience

Awfully close to Christmas don't you think? My host chose yesterday because of how far it is from Christmas in order to avoid christmas related not being able to shows.

It is close to Christmas...it's Dec 22nd but I don't really care and I guess my guests dont either.
Reason we are doing it then is one of my SILs live in another state and the other is living in China and they will only be home during the holidays.
Plus many of our friends are back during the holidays.

So actually the holidays seemed like the perfect time to do it. We've had tons of RSVPs and lots of stuff is already bought off my registry.
