Sick with diarrhea in early pregnancy

Im only about 3-4 weeks and im so sick with diarrhea (a tummy bug i caught off my son) and morning sickness. I cant eat anything, it goes straight through me. Should i be worried about losing the baby? the combination of morning sickness and tummy bug is terrible. i never felt this bad with both my other kids. Im so hungry i feel like im wasting away.

sorry you are feeling so miserable hun. maybe try the BRAT diet? Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. White rice alone should bind you up a little bit so you are able to keep something in. also try to still take your prenatals. even if you throw them up, it still releases into your body. hope you feel better soon!

Take it very easy! Easier said than done, I know!
Keep as hydrated as you can and lots of rest!
You should be fine! I've had 3 sickness bugs this pregnancy one being very early! And whilst it makes you feel like death, baby should be nicely protected in there and it's just you it's making feel awfull!

Don't worry you'll be fine. I caught my dd stomach bug when I was 6 weeks pregnant. I had 24 hrs of violent vomiting and diahrrea. It was hell. I couldnt keep water down. well it passed and baby was fine. I evn called ob at the time and he assured me baby is not affected. Try to drink sips when u can. Feel better!!

I also had a stomach bug at 6 weeks, it was awful. Doc said no heating pad for my tummy and had to bear through it by drinking pedialite. His only imperative was stay hydrated, he did not make me eat as like you said it will go right through anyway...hang in there!

I had really bad diarrhoea since very early pregnancy until about last week. I also had a couple of really nasty tummy bugs during that time. Baby is doing fine so I don't think there is any risk to the pregnancy.

Just this last week, the diarrhoea has gone and I am now suffering from constipation which is far worse!
