sickness stopping suddenly? anything to worry about?

hi ladies

this is my 1st pregnancy so i have nothing to compare it to

ive not actually thrown up once but started having nausea quite late at around 10 weeks. ive had it every day since, very bad in the mornings and returning in the evenings.

now at 14 weeks this has suddenly stopped,and i havent had it for 3 days. i know its probably the stage im at but i expected it to tail off more gradually than this

did any of u notice your sickness/nausea stopping suddenly? and is it a cause for concern?

No cause for concern. Cause for celebration. Make the most of not feeling sick for as long as you can, as occasionally it can come back.

i stopped throwing up in the morning for 3 days in a row! thought it had finally finished but sure enough it came back a few days later! you just have to hope its finishing for you! i wouldnt worry x

You are VERY lucky !!

With my first pregnancy i was REALLY sick from week 8 to week 38 and said i would never get pregnant again .. lol .. that was 5yrs ago.

With this pregnancy i was Very sick from week 4 through to week 13 when it just suddenly stopped so i spoke to my midwife to make sure everything was ok and she said its just a sign that the placenta has kicked in to action and is now doing its job

im 19 weeks now and the sickness has not returned and i feel great - even if i do look like a baby rhino !! so enjoy it - for a first pregnancy you are very lucky

Mine vanished around the stage you're at, and I've only been sick once since in the morning. Totally normal

Mine stopped as fast as it started. It literally started at 12:05pm Monday when I was 5+4. Then it radomly stopped Thursday when I was 14 weeks. Everything is fine with me and baby.

Similar story here, I had HG in my first pregnancy... was hospitalized for dehydration and given a Rx for the nausea/vomiting, lost 13lbs! Anyway, I woke up one morning in the 13th week and it was just GONE! Didn't return till week 38 and not quite as severe as the beginning.

This pregnancy I also have HG, lost 4 lbs and I am waiting/hoping for the same thing to happen. So far, it hasn't a 13+1. But trust me...if these symptoms leave suddenly I will NOT complain.
