Side effects from Rotavirus vaccine?

Hi everyone,

My baby girl had her second dose of the rotavirus vaccine last Wednesday morning and since I'd say Friday she has been so uncomfortable. She has been off her milk, crying a lot, grabbing at her face and sucking her fists constantly. Its horrible to see her like this, she's usually such a happy baby.

Has anyone experienced this? She wasn't this bad after the first dose.

I'd appreciate any input

Any chance she's teething? Mine does weird things up to three months before a tooth appears. Every time.

She started getting symptoms (everything you have described above and more) from about 8-10 weeks and got her first tooth at 5 months. At first, I had no idea what was going on, but now she's nearly 17 months we've seen enough teething to recognise a predictable pattern.

I agree with pp. Sounds more like teething than caccone side affect. They can have the symptoms for weeks/months before a tooth pops out the gum, its just they are uncomfortable with it moving under the surface. Xxx

Yeh could be teething our lg got her first tooth at 16weeks so possible!

I think it sounds like teething as well, have you tried massaging her gums with a clean finger?
