...about moving LO from the carrycot to the pushchair seat on my pram. It's so stupid I know but it feels like she's not so much of a 'baby' anymore. She'll be 5 months in a few days and I've been holding out as long as possible but there isn't quite enough room to stretch her legs now.

God I even felt a bit sad taking the newborn insert out of the carseat a few months ago! What am I like?!

I totally know what you mean and I was feeling the exact same today. Soon LO will have to start facing forward in her buggy and I feel heartbroken, as I did with my first.

I'll have to switch over from carrycot to pram soon and the thought of it makes me sad too :( you're not alone! I feel a bit sad knowing Ava is no longer a newborn :(

I felt really sad too. And even sadder when I realised he is happier forward facing

I'm the same. I've only just switched to the seat but still use the carrycot in the house for naps. I was sad taking the newborn inserts out of seats as well.

I've got a vintage pram where the back props up and you put Reins on lo. Quite pleased as i think I'd struggle too.

I know what you mean. I nearly cried when I had to pack her newborn clothes away. They grow so quick! :hugs:

When I read this I thought - five months is way too young to put baby straight into the stroller!! My boy is five months next week! But yeah he really probably should be in the stroller now. But I'm going to wait a bit longer still!
