silver cross pram moses basket stand rocking front to back

I am 99% sure getting the silver cross classic sleepover pram.
I notice on the photo that the wooden stand which holds the moses basket / bassinet rocks front to back rather than side to side.
this seems odd to me. Like intuitively I would want to rock the baby side to side.
anyone used this and have anything to say about it? Is it weird to rock the baby front to back? Link here to see what I am referring to.

I'm getting this and to be honest didn't notice lol when you go into hospital their baby cot things the babies sleep in rock back to front and most rocking moses basket stands rock back and forth as far as i've seen xx

ive never thought about it tbh.

i thought most moses basket rocking stands are the same.

hmmmm, now that I think about it maybe it is the better way for them to rock. I had thought otherwise but thinking about it I realize maybe it is better.

Now I think about it, I'm sure most of the rocking bassinets etc that you see on american tv shows rock side to side. I've not saw any around here or on the internet that rock side to side. I looked around quite alot for my stand coz we wanted one that rocked and folded (and that we could stop from rocking but we couldn't get that, the silver cross would have been perfect but you can't buy the stand seperately and the pram didnt fit in my boot!), and I didnt notice any. Mine rocks front to back.
