We're not planning on weaning Poppy until she's six months but I've read LO needs to be able to sit up before you should start the weaning process. Does this mean sit up alone unaided or sit up comfortably if propped up on a sofa for example?

Thanks :flower:

I take it as sitting up with minimal support so baby has the strength to sit up but maybe not the balance to stay there.

I took it to mean the same as above, however we did start to Blw at 6 months and had to give her alot of support in her highchair as she was unable to sit up. She didnt actually start sitting until over 9 months so Im not sure what we would have been advised to do as thats quite a bit of time from 6 months. We did check with our HV and she was fine with it. :)
