skin tags

Hi

Does anyone else have skin tags that have appeared while pregnant?
I have noticed some skin tags right on one nipple Hopefully they will disappear but I wondered if they could affect breast feeding?

I don't know if they will afect breast feeding. I have some on my breasts too that have appeared since being pregnant. I showed them to my midwife and she didn't look concerned or mention that they might hinder breast feeding.

sorry to gate crash over!! Ive had a skin tag on my right nipple since before I fell preg with my first child I was going to have it removed but chickened out!! I am now waiting for an appt to have it taken off as it has got larger since BFing for 9 months...It wasnt really painfull but it did get bigger and found in the first few weeks of BFing it went a bit black on end and a tiny bit scabby (it was sore then but kept going) Not saying this to scare you lol!! I think by sounds of it mine is ALOT bigger than yours but shouldnt effect BFing atall...Ask your doc or MW if your worried as all they are going to do to mine is local anesthetic then slice it off then quaterise (sp) it!! Sounds horrible but needs must lol

Boudica - yeah they are horrible! I must admit I picked one off the other day thinking a toast crumb had fallen down my bra! Then it bled and I realised it was a skin tag haha.

**angel** - good luck for your 'operation'! Sounds like they remove them like moles, I've had that done before and wasn't too bad. Glad it didnt affect BF then.

pinktaffy - hmm maybe google image 'skin tag'. Mine look like little bits of pinched skin, they feel like moles but are skin coloured. I know you can get them where clothes rub - armpits and groin etc, but nipples?! lol.

i have tiny ones all over my neck....you can't see them but if you run your fingers over my skin you can feel them. and i have like one on each nipple. YUCK!!

i got lots of them all over my neck and tummy hope they go away

I get them during pregnancy and they go pretty quick after

They have no effect on breastfeeding

Yep, I have some on my left nipple! Glad to hear I'm not the only one. They are small, so hopefully won't interfere with breastfeeding.

yep i have them coming up all over my neck. ive been pulling them off with tweezers lol
