My lo will be 20 weeks on Wednesday. Around Easter he was sleeping 7+ stints at the first part of the night even sleeping 11hrs one night. He has not done that since. We start his bedtime routine at 5.30 and I'm usually putting him in his crib around 6.10pm. Last night I had to go up 4 times to settle him and he finally fell asleep at 8pm. He woke at 10.45 so I fed him (breast fed) then he slept 11.05-1.45 fed him again then he did 2.15-5.15 he wouldn't go back off after that. We started a week ago giving him 1 bottle of formula before bed and I then top him up on the breast for comfort. During the day he's a cat napper max half an hour at a time and I try to get him to sleep after 2hrs of awake time. Yesterday he had a total of just over 2hrs in naps. I've tried leaving him when he wakes in the night which sometimes works sometimes doesn't. He's in our room as we only have 1 bedroom. Any tips or advice on what we can try? I'm struggling with such an early wake up!

I'm not sure, but perhaps 6.10pm is too early for his bedtime at this point? I'd try moving his bedtime a bit later and pushing his awake time to 2hrs 15 mins during the day to see if it makes a difference. His routine might need changing a bit, I found my LO settled into a different routine around 5 months and it's changing again now at 6 months.

It could be a wonder week 19 thing....apparently it's one of the trickiest. My boy is in it right now, doing the same as your LO, and it's hell on toast. :-(

I agree maybe thats a bit early! Maybe try a later bed time x

Id try a later bed time as well. If jonathan goes to sleep before 745 pm hes up all night
