Hi all,
The Jaybee's are back from two weeks on Holiday, and wanted to brag about The Boy!!

Some may remember from baby club and here about Tobi's awful night sleeping at the beginning and the fact he was still sleeping in our arms for naps! Also, we were in the middle of moving from two naps to one etc etc etc, so things were interesting with the sleeping!

We have just had two weeks on a barge, so lots of exercise and fresh air!
However on the first day, he was so tired, he fell asleep on his bed for TWO hours (he usually does no more than 45mins!) and this was the case for the whole two weeks!! :happydance::happydance:

The same for bedtime, he slept all night and until 630 - 7 every day!!:thumbup:

The only 'slight' issue, is that he has got used to falling asleep with me next to him ( to stop him falling off the bed!) so now that we are home, we will need to work on that!
Oh, also, I think we shall be moving to a toddler bed too, as he is not keen on his cot any more!!!!

No real reason for my post, just bragging really!! :dohh:

Vacations did the same thing for my son! He never napped during the day in his entire life (he was a colicky baby) until he was 9 months old and we went on vacation. He was so exhausted that he would fall asleep in the afternoons for 45min or so. Once we were back he started napping every day for 2-3h! And he didn't sleep through the night until 17 months when we got back from a long weekend and suddenly he did! So weird!!

Way to go Tobi! xx

How strange! We've just returned from a two week holiday, where my not so good sleeper started having a 2 hour nap and sleep 13 hours straight at nght! She's still doing it now were home *touch wood it continues! *

Well last night was not so good... but was first night home.. so can't expect much else!
but todays nap was awesome!!

I think its the whole out in the fresh air thing that does it.
