Sleep loving babies

Anyones LOs love their sleep? She slept 10 hours last night and is currently, reluctantly waking from a 3 hour nap (she had another short nap earlier) she hates waking up and normally cries. If she's sucking on something (usually me) she could nap all day! (a bit like her mum!)

Lol.. mine sleeps 12 hours at night but doesn't usually love his daytime naps very much.. though he does sometimes take 2 hour naps during the day.

But shhhh, keep your voice down, there are sleep-deprived mothers on here

I still have my fair share of sleepless nights!! Just wondering if there was anyone in a similar position to me! It takes her a while to wake up after a nap too!

Omar used to sleep all day night at that age. He started to sleep less during the day at 8.5 months. After his birthday his sleep started to get all over the place. He started to sleep through again few days back.

chloe goes down at 7pm and usually wakes around 9am, wont eat for an hour after she wakes has her milk an hour later cereal then she goes down for a 2hour nap will be awake for 3 hours max then will nap again for 2hours!...so yes she loves her sleep but she wasnt always like that, im not fussed on her sleeping through the day but i love the fact she sleeps all night....took me 3 weeks of a very strict routine to get her sleeping through!

Madeline is still like this! I can't believe how lucky we have been. She sleeps from 7-7.30pm - 7.30am (sometimes later if it is one of the days I am not in work and so don't have to be up at a certain time). She also has an afternoon nap, and that can stretch to three hours! So it can last...lazy little ladies

OMG! You are soooo lucky. All i want to know is "HOW you did it?" I don't mind if she wakes in the night for feeds and such, but she is just NOT sleeping. When she does, it takes us hours to get her down, then she is down for 20 mins max! She just started this about 2 wks ago, i have no idea what is going on.... But, i feel so bad for her and ME! I'm a walking zombie... Seriously, i am in bad shape.. has become my very bestest friend. So please please tell me what your secret is!!!

wish DD was a sleep lover like her momma, but this girl is up from sunrise to sunset and beyond, and she rarely naps during the day either, it's exhausting

Mine is a sleeper!

Hes 9 weeks and still sleeps like a newborn!

He wakes, say 8.30, feeds, has a nappy change, maybe a play and by 10 would be back in bed asleep for a couple of hours then we do it all again.

He still feeds a couple of times in the night but goes straight back to sleep.

He has always been like this, and I know how lucky I am, my friends LO is 6 weeks older and hasn't slept much from day one.

I know loads of babies that won't sleep at all! We are lucky! Often I can't get her up! She slept 10pm till 6am then quick feed and back to sleep till 10am. She's napping on me now, approaching 5hours, and screams if I try and wake her up!

I'm not sure we did anything different, it's just down to their personality!?

I have a sleepy one too! started going all night @ 8 weeks, (about 8-6) and thats progressively gone to 7pm ish - 7am ish. She will also have 2 or 3 naps ( 1-2hrs) a day and 99% of the time self settles. She will NOT however sleep anywhere else except cot or pram and she hasn't slept on me for about 6 months!!!

lucie has always been prety good at 9wks ish would eat bad at 7 then feed at 4ish and for that past few night has gone 7 till 7 but sleeps in the day are short but she self settles and is happy all day yes we are lucky

My LO has been sleeping great lately. 6pm - after 7am and then 9.30-11am and 2.15-3.30pm. She was horrendous at first though but must be making it up to me. I spend all day wondering how to amuse myself xx
