i know there are lots of posts about this at the moment, but need to release!
After doing some sleep training with Tobi, we went from not settling on his own EVER and waking up, up to 13 times a night and then getting up at 5am. To settling on his own at bedtime, sleeping brilliantly and waking at 430 for a feed then up for the day at 6. Tobi was a MUCH happier baby and so was Mummy!
Last night was back to the old days. He went down easy at 630pm. Then woke at 7.10, 830, 930, 1.10, 3, 430 and then up at 518!! ( I did write a post last night, worrying that my milk wasn't there last night!)
Usually if he wakes up in the night, I will leave him for a few minutes to see if he will go back to sleep, but last night he woke up with a very 'desperate' cry. So I went in and comforted him, gave him the breast and he would have a suckle and then fall fast asleep!
I don;t know if this is sleep regression, teething, growth spurt or what!
I don't mind the waking as such, it was more the fact that he was so upset when he did wake up.
No temperature, no nappy rash, no funny poo's, no red cheeks. I am at a loss!
I just hope whatever it is will pass today and he sleeps better tonight!
