Just wondering what your lo's sleep like during the night.:flower:. Kian is 13 weeks and bf, and he still wakes up every 3 hours at night sometimes every 2 for a feed. ON the odd occasion he has slept for 5 hours top.:cloud9: He also takes about an hour to settle back down to sleep, he likes to be rocked, so he always ends up in my bed as im just worn out come night time. Im not with his dad and as hes bf its me that does it all. IYKWIM?? Anyway just wondering if there will be light at the end of the tunnel and he will sleep through eventually?//? xx

Hi hun I sympathise - my boy is nearly 16 weeks and if I could get him to 3-hourly I would be very pleased!! He wakes usually anywhere between 90mins and 2 hours all night, from whenever I put him down. It's got worse and I don't know why but like you I'm hoping he'll sleep a longer stretch at some point. I am the only one that can get him back to sleep (with boob) and end up bringing him in the bed but I don't want to do this anymore.

My LO still wakes between 1-3 times for a feed in the night. But, my friends BF baby sleeps 10-6 and has done since about 8 weeks. They're all so different. I hope you get a sleeper!

As above ^^^^^

Leni is 14 weeks (8 weeks corrected) and sleeps through the night. Sometimes he wakes up once, but he finds the boob himself so i don't generally wake up. We co-sleep.

Evey is 9 weeks and sleeps for about 6hours in one stretch then wakes every 2 hours or so for more boob. She does not sleep in the day unless we're in he car or she's in her pushchair. Sorry thats not much help but I know all babies are so very different..

Evey sounds so much like Leni! Leni won't sleep in the day at all!

I can get mine to sleep in the day but I have to put him to sleep - i.e. bounce or feed. Otherwise he'd be soooo ratty! I don't even think I could stop him sleeping to see if he'd go better at night.

It drives me insane I know she's tired, she knows she's tired but it's chucking it down with rain so we're not going out!!!!

I'll hand her over to OH when he gets home from work, he can deal with Grizelda!

Tristan sleeps 10-6 well the times vary but it's always about 8hours, he's done it since he was about 8weeks slowly getting longer.
Ds1 however didn't sleep though till 5months and he would be attached to my breasts all night. I really think it differs with every baby, as a friend of mine ff and her son is 4 and still doesn't sleep through!

Peyton (almost 12 weeks) goes to bed at 8pm and gets up 1-2 time bettween 8pm and 7am. :D I've had him in his own crib and room since a week old and he is now comfortable there and will go right back to sleep. I really think having this routine has helped his sleeping.

My LO usually gets up once at night and once (sometimes in the early am) She goes down about 700 -730 and sleeps till 330am. She usually gets up then around 630 but sometimes she is up at 430 or anytime after that.

We got her to start sleeping longer by giving her a pacifier to suck on when she started making sounds. I would go into her room put the pacifier in her mouth and she would suck on it and settle herself back to sleep. This usually works for us. Good luck

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, eventually your LO will eat more during feeds and sleep longer at night it just takes time. Kenny still wakes every 3 hours or so at night for a feed. I've noticed it helps if I give him a bottle of EBM right before bedtime, that way he will sleep about five hours before he wakes for his next feed. We go to bed at 10pm and he'll wake at 3am and 5am for a feed! :flower:
