Hi,

My 7 month old keep rolling over onto his front during the night and going back to sleep. I turn him back but was wondering how dangerous it was for them to be on their fronts?

Thanks

At 7 months I would not be concerned, he should be strong enough to lift his head and do a little pushup or roll back over. It's more comfy for them in general to sleep on their side/tummy so once he can roll he'll probably prefer it.

I wouldn't worry about it. He is old enough to be turning, so you can't really stop it anyways! Front-to-sleep is usually recommended for newborns and very young babies.

He'll be fine Hun :)

I think the advice is once they can roll over you shouldn't stop them. If they can roll on to their tums it's safe to assume they can roll back off them again x

I wouldn't worry, our LO rolls onto his right side now, there's no point moving him as he just rolls back!

Macy has just started rolling onto her tummy to sleep now too. It's fine as she can do a push up and can easily turn herself back over, I think it's only when their movement is limited and they can't move their head away from something that's dangerous xx

my Lo started doing it at 7 months and i leave him to it, apart from now at 8 months hes a right wriggler in his sleep and every time he stirs he ends up ina new position, side, front and back!

infact on his front now he sleeps with his butt in the air!
