Hi ladies was just wondering if anyone else is having difficulty sleeping on their tums? I have noticed that over the past couple of nights it's now impossible to sleep on my stomach, it feels like there is something in the way (other than my boobs) I'm only 5+3 and I don't remember feeling like this until I was 11 weeks with my son. I'm a lil confused to say the least.

I'm a side sleeper but I can only sleep on my left side now. Sleeping on my right side feels very uncomfortable so I know what you mean. It's the weirdest thing, isn't it as there's nothing to see that would prevent it but obviously our bodies know what is best xx

I've been sleeping on my left side but I've read it's not good for your insides so now I can't get into a comfy position doing my head in. Already finding it difficult to sleep during the night. Can't wait till I can see the bump and not just feel it :-D Xx

I am only 4+5 and am having problems sleeping on my tum n left side. Its so uncomfortable. So, resorted to sleeping on my back n right side.

I'm still sleeping on my stomach. Some nights I feel a little pressure, but other nights nothing.

I'm too nervous to sleep on my stomach, I'm only 6+1 weeks, I sleep on my sides and back while I still can. It is much harder to sleep now because I'm just nervous to hurt something. I feel lots of pressure at night. I sleep on my side but I lean in towards my stomach, not flat on my stomach but side stomach I guess lol, hard to explain but I'm sure you will understand. It's still comfy that way. It makes me nervous to think when I get much farther along, I don't know how I'm going to get any sleep.

Don't be nervous to sleep on your stomach! It will become uncomfortable for you FAR before it will make baby uncomfortable. I have heard of some women still sleeping on their stomach after 20 weeks! Your body protects baby very well and will let you know before you can cause any problems.

The bloatage is rediculous! Undone my trouser buttons and still had an indentation of my zip in my gut. Seriously not impressed!

I have no control over how i sleep, Im a complete fidget haha!!

Your left side is actually the best position you can sleep in while pregnant. During early pregnancy it really doesn't make much difference but later on especially its best to try to stay on your left side as your heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump the blood around your body and you aren't laying on any major blood vessels.
