Sleeping with dummy

Probably a silly question, because i read people saying they have to get up all the time and put their LO's dummy back in their mouth and go back to sleep at night, but is it safe for babies to sleep with dummies in their mouth? He only uses it at naptime during the day. He'd prefer to use his hand as a dummy, because he loves sucking on that but he's not yet got the right hand/eye coordination to keep it in there and after about 15 mins of hearing him getting frustrated over the baby monitor, i go up, pop a dummy in his mouth and he's asleep in seconds.

It must be fine as most nights my Anna goes to sleep with the dummy in and its still in when I go in to wake her up 11 hours later! She can find it and put it back in so she might do that during the night. :flower:

My Anna wont go to sleep without her dummy now which is a pain if she falls asleep and it falls out and she wakes up!
Dummies are supposed to reduce the risk of cot death so Im not fussed if she uses it to sleep

Ollie sleeps with a dummy, hes fine with it sometimes it pops out but luckily he stays asleep tbh id rather him take a dummy than suck his thumb in months to come as you can wean off a dummy cant really wean them from their thumb xx

dummys r gr8 to help them get 2 sleep. yes somtimes when they wake u have 2 pop it back in but they would of woke anyway only the dummy just gets her back 2 sleep faster.
pluss it helps reduce the risk of sids so i always said i would use a dummy 2 sleep with for her....
