my lo had her jabs yesterday and is very sleepy and im having to wake her for feeds! :nope: she is taking about 4 oz intead of 6! she will wake but just lay there looking around for a few minutes then go back to sleep! she has only had one bottle so far today so im gonna feed her again in a minute! do you think i should be worried??? :hugs:

it can make them out of sorts hun but if you are really worried then you could get her checked over for your peace of mind, but as long as she is taking milk when you wake her and does have some "alert" periods even if she is grumpy, I would be inclined not to worry too much x

archies had 2 lots of his jabs and was quite sleepy after both. as long as shes still taking some milk i think she'll be ok. keep an eye on her temperature as thats usually the first sign theyre unwell. if it carries on and your really worried speak to HV x

My lo had his jabs on Thu. Thu aft he was very sleepy but woke for feed in night and in aft- since jabs hes only really been taking 2-3oz little and often.Yest aft and all last night he went from sleepy to grouchy and irritable and didnt sleep well from 3am onwards. Just managed to get him down at 12:30 and so far so good for his sleep. The jabs do bring a lot of symptoms such as loss of appetite, drowsiness, feeling miserable, diarrhoea and sickness. If you are worried contact GP. I hope both our LO's are back to their normal selves very soon! :) x

thanx. she took the full 6 oz this time but is constantly icking back up! (she has mild reflux anyway) but at least she is awake for now! she had a temp last night and is 37.1 now and is usually 35.8! she doesnt feel hot just clammy! urghh sticky baby! lol xxx

Not nice is it and sadly we have to repeat the process in 4 weeks time! I am just so glad Lucas is now sleeping and am hoping it brings him onto track again as he usually feeds at 7,11,3,7 so am hoping he'll wake shortly for a 3pm ish feed which will be a sign to me he is finally and hopefully getting back on track. Also hoping it makes him sleep an awful lot better tonight! He's only taken 8 oz so far today :(.

sounds about right for jabs unfortunatly. I remember my first LO slept nearly all day after he had his (which was most unusual for him) and had a really high temp. He was back to normal in a day or so tho. Worth keeping an eye on tho and if you are worried, get her checked out.

Sounds normal. Molly was quite sleepy and not feeding as much for 2/3 days after her jabs. Just let her rest and ride it out and only wake her if it's been a while (5 or so hours I'd say)
