Slightly OT - Gel nails in pregnancy

I was just wondering whether anyone does their own gel overlays? what products you use?

I don't have mine done all the time, but like having them done as a treat once in a while. Anyway, my nails are growing so fast at the mo that my last lot grew up so so quick, so I don't feel I got my money's worth. Was thinking of doing my own as I've had them done enough to know what to do, just wondering what products anyone uses? Bio Sculpture is the best IMO, but too expensive, so any other brands?

I'm a qualified Nail Technician and I agree Bio Sculpture IS the best.
If I was you I would either have Bio or nothing, alot of other products trash your nails and in the long run they will be a mess.

I want to get my nails done too. Other than the fumes in the salon, is there any reason to stay away from them?

Gels better than acrylics?

Gel is loads better than acrylic for your nails but acrylic is stronger.

No reason to stay away...they can't hurt you
