Slow let down=Fussy baby?

So I know everone is saying that I should just keep sticking baby on the boob so he can feed and I can get my milk supply up but there is only one problem he sucks and sucks(which by the way are killing my nipples because he pulls away everytime he sees no milk come out) and no milk comes and then he starts to freak out. Well by the time he is all red thats when the let down happens and trying to latch is a nightmare.Sometimes when I am not nursing I can feel the let down happening and I rush to go feed but he is in deep sleep. I have tried the warm compresses and massaging my breast it just takes forever. What am I to do?

Stick with it, I've no real advice sorry.. You've probably heard it all before but it gets easier, my nipples are as tough as old boots now
I'm 10 weeks in, we still have our off days but I'd never thought we'd get this far..
