the smell of smoke is really knocking my stomache every time i smell it, i feel like i cant breath and want to physically vomit from it...finding it hard tho as every one smokes around me (and even tho they open a window they still smoke around me and i either move to another room/outside for fresh air or put up with it as i dont live in my own home) fed up of it tbh and hate to think what effects its having on my buba, im not a smoker and i never smoked, infact i have lead stop smoking campaignes in schools to try and stop
youngsters smoking.

My husband smokes and it makes me sick. I can't go out with the dogs anymore because he always goes out and smokes.

i dont mean to moan about it either because its not my house but it just getting to me now, my OH smokes and tries to stay away from me but every one else who lives in the house smokes aswell (the only time they dont smoke is when we are eating) and as there are 5 smokers in the house its as if some one is always smoking grrr i feel fine when im at work but as soon as i get a wiff of the smell i want to gag :( lol

It's exactly the same for me.
I went to a cookout on Sunday and many of our friends are smokers, I kept having to talk to them from half way across the yard because the smell of the smoke just made me feel so sick!

I smoked until I got my BFP then stopped immediatley! My OH still smokes and the last week I have found that the smell and taste from when he's just had a cig really turns my stomach, he smokes outside so its not the lingering smells. So far its the only thing that is setting my stomach off - im sure there will be plenty more soon :haha:

hun id ask them to stop smoking in the house, when your baby comes along they cant be smoking in the house with baby then so why now :hugs: they need to respect you and your babies health x

I can't even walk by someone on the street smoking before I want to gag. My DH smokes socially sometimes and he knows not to come anywhere near me.

i plan to be in my own home (rented tho) when baby comes, that way i can put my foot down and ban it completely, i hate the thought of my baby passive smoking and even passive smoking through me passive smoking x x

I went into a ladies home today and she smokes heavilly. After I walked out of her house I was actually sick and vomited in the middle of the high street... how embarresing!

hope i dont do that...i feel like it when i smell the odour that has lingered so i hope i dont actually throw up in public :(

Heightened sense / aversion to smells was one of my first symptoms and whilst I have never liked the smell of smoke, it really does make me feel sick these days - you are certainly not alone.

I can't stand it either. Was a smoker until BFP. DH smokes while we're in the car and I just feel like throwing up. bleh. I can't even kiss him after a smoke, it's disgusting and to think I smelled like that too.

I've tried to tell him not to smoke while I'm in the car but it's like talking to a brick wall. He keeps saying he's going to quit, OK when? By the time your 80 or what. LOL Mini rant in there, sorry.

I absolutely cannot stand the smell of smoke now! Here in Germany, A LOT of people smoke, so you're almost constantly near someone smoking on the sidewalks, etc. -- at my workplace, at least half of the workers smoke.

I've personally never smoked and never will, but when the workmate who sits across from me comes in from smoking (which is every effing hour, it seems), I gag. Literally. I'm trying to keep myself from vomiting at work, though, cause I haven't told anyone there that I'm pregnant...

The smell of smoke on peoples clothes makes me sick even more!
