smelly steriliser!!!

Does anyone elses sterliser smell sometimes?!!!

Sometimes I open it and it smells a bit gross. I always wash the life out of my bottles before using, so I don't get it. Am worried about bacteria.

Help! BTW its the TT electric steam one

I put a Boots descaling satchet in it when it smells.. Just follow the instructions on box, it makes it smell nice & de scales it
Or a few drops of lemon juice, 100ml water, stick it on an empty cycle. xx

Sounds like you need to clean out your steriliser, sounds daft i know, because your bottles are clean before hand and you are sterilising, but you need to get sachets like Kaybea says and follow the instructions. I do mine every 4 weeks and it ensures steriliser is working properly x

I only cleaned and sterilized it 3 days ago and it's smelling funny already so i know it's not that
