SMEP- Does it matter what day you start?

It says online to start cd8 but my cycle start is always a bit hit n miss as I spot before I flow so I'm on cd 8/9 today. Does one day make a difference when I don't know when I will ovulate (12-14 usually) Any success stories out there?

I don't think it matters too much as long as you have sex at least once before the main BD sessions to get rid of any dead spermies!
I think as long as you do the one day have a break then 3 in a row from positive OPK you are covered
I used SMEP for the first time and fell pregnant.Unfortunately I lost that baby.
Me and DH have been SMEPing now since our second loss in April and nothing. So I guess it's a case of luck but it does really help with timing!

I don't think it matters. I've had luck with SMEP too. Unfortunately, I m/c'd, but it did work.
