    Hi

Just wondered if anyone had tried the SMEP successfully ?

We're planning on bd'ing every other day in the hope we'll catch an egg as I'm unsure when I'm due to OV after recent m/c. I don't want to start with OPK's as I'm already a POAS addict.

    :dust: to everyone ttc.

    xx

    Hi Heidi

I recently suffered a m/c so am not sure whether cycles with revert to normal (28 day) or if they will be all over for a bit.

We decided that at least every other day we would hopefully catch ov. I know the SMEP says to start opk's around ov time and then bd every day for three days in a row but I think I'll just keep an eye on cm and then slip a few extra :sex: sessions in for luck.

:dust: good luck and let us know how you get on xxx

^ sorry to hear about your loss hun. I think thats the best way when your not too sure on cycle lengths. I came of bcp in september and had a withdrawal then a 150 day cycle so got meds to bring on af which luckily worked and then last month i had my 1st natural cycle which was 37 days long so fx this one will be a shorter one for me! Seems to be taking forever to get back to normal :(
I hope this is the month for you, have fun trying :hugs:

We're going to try the SMEP this month. If you look at previous threads on here, there are loads of girls saying they're going to try it and looking at their tickers on their signatures, most of them are now pregnant!

Good luck and lots of baby dust to you.

Sorry to hear about your loss honey! Sounds like a brill idea to me that SMEP. I have never really tried it really. My Oh and I bd as much as we can during the whole month before Aunt Flo normally arrives. Sometimes everynight, maybe every other but i make sure around O that we bd enough to make sure theres some little guys :spermy: there to do their job once my lovely little egg has been released lol!! :D Wishing you all the best of luck!

Yep, I'm trying it out too this cycle (minus the OPKs). I'm kind of glad, since my ovulation time seems to have jumped up 4 days compared to previous cycles!

    :dust: to all!!!

Well I have tried it this month so I can let you know in a couple of days but I am thinking a big NO I don't feel pregnant. I got nothing. SO I figure the witch will come on time. If she does I should start having cramping tomorrowish.

we're giving it a go this month, although have started the BDing on CD3 as AF only lasted 2days!! Will start with the OPK's in another 3-4 days and going to be using pre-seed as well!! Determined to get a sticky BFP this month!!

Kota, so sorry to hear about your MC! I'm also using preseed, so here's hoping that the combo does the trick!!

Hey Heidi, thanks for asking! :)

I have some major ovulation confusion going on right now. I'm not sure if my thermometer is dead, or if I'm going anovulatory this cycle, or if I'm going to ovulate later than usual..... BBT doesn't indicate ovulation, and my CM is not a great indicator (although it tentatively points to me having ovulated). I'm not using OPKs for my version of SMEP. But travel is about to make any more BDing impossible..... So I really have no idea how it's going! Lol.

You? Other ladies? Hope you're all having a better time of it than I am!!!!
