Snotty poo! ...sorry TMI

For the 2nd time this week LO just had a dirty nappy with a load of mucus.

We are bf and she is nearly 4 months. I wondered if it was teething related (she is constantly dribbling at the mo).

Am seeing doctor tomorrow so will ask then but wondered if anyone else had seen this?

My LO has this. He also has reflux, and a load of other cow-milk protein intolerance symptoms, so i wondered if it was to do with this. Obviously youd know by now if your LO had reflux or CMPI so doesnt sound like this for your LO. Doctor just ignored me when I mentioned it :/ but then I'm giving up on GP's, trialling CMPI diet then going straight to local childrens hospital from now on!

hiya i just googled this myself as have a similar thing with my lo- apparently lots of saliva can cause it so sounds like that might be your problem. it shouldnt be an issue unless its 'constant' - whatever that means. its quite common in bf babies as theyre so efficient at digesting your milk it sometimes agitates their tummies a bit.
