So bloody angry ( update )

Someone brought out my mother bear instinct yesterday!!!

We were having a lovely little picnic and some woman can scooting down so bloody fast on one of those motorised disabled scooters. I was in the pram sorting my youngest out as we were packing up to leave, my four yr old was just standing next to the pram and this woman appeared from nowhere ... I don't know how I managed to pull her out the way but she just missed running her straight over and then crashing into the pram

She stopped and I expected her to be horrified at what she had done

She looked at my little girl and said " you stupid little pissing kid" in a really aggressive tone

I was raging

Not proud of the stuff I said to her but jeez I'm jot usually or actually ever aggressive but I would have pulled her off the scooter if the children had not have been there

My poor little girl, even my two yr old were shook up, they're just not used ( thank god ) of anyone ever speaking like this or I guess seeing mummy angry

Sorry just a bit of a rant

I'm prob going to see this woman around as we obviously both live here

I'm so glad my husband wasn't there, he would have been even worse than me

Honestly she was like a boy racer on that thing

No she didn't hit us but she was like an inch from knocking us all down.... I just got ruby out the way and pulled the pram and nearly toppled youngest out as she wasn't strapped in

I could not believe it...

I don't even know if she was drunk because there is no way any normal person would not have stopped and been mortified at nearly hitting a young girl and a pram

Wow! That is unbelievable! I would have given her a piece of my mind too! Don't worry about seeing her around.. it's her who should be worrying about seeing you! Maybe she was drunk? Or perhaps mentally ill? I'm trying to understand her behaviour but I just can't find a reason. You must have been in shock!

Any idea how fast she was going? It's illegal to go more than 4mph on a footpath or pedestrian area. If you regularly see her going more than that, I'd report her to the Police and tell them where to find her

That's unbelievable, I'm angry on your behalf!! she sounds like a complete danger, it was lucky no one was hurt but it could have ended very differently. Imagine if she came up against someone with restricted mobility who couldn't move out of the way, or you hadn't noticed her in time?

Yeah I didn't even think about calling the police ..

I have no idea but I'd say it was max speed. I regularly go out with my aunt who has yo use one and she goes half the speed she was doing

Thats awful. A man on a scooter reversed into my trolley in asda when ds was younger and if he wasnt fastened in he'd have gone flying and it trapped me between the trolley and sheves, really hurt. He never apologised either just looked at us and drove off. I cried lol. I was so mad. Some people are just so rude its unreal.

Idk, im pretty sure out of sheer impulse and immediate reaction i'd of slapped her or something, not the best thing to do but thats honestly how my body works! If oh pokes or prods at me then my immediate reaction is just to hit! He knows this, but it still doesnt stop him trying to carry on and he definitely gets the reaction he sort of wanted

On a serious note though, what a bitch. Run her over with the buggy! Push her off her little scooter! xx

I agree with contacting the police if it happens again.

I was on a bus once and a guy on one of these shot out in front it. The bus had to slam on its brakes and I nearly fell onto newborn dd in her pram. One poor little girl fell off her seat and bashed her head against the metal pole. Her gran was fuming and made the bus stop so she could go chase him!

Though one explanation (if she was elderly) could be that she has dementia as that impairs judgment and usual (nice) behavior.

She wasn't that old to be honest ... Surprisingly young (50s at the most )

I would have just kicked her friggin' motorized thing over, and said, "Stupid bloody BEEOTCH!!!!"

Well, not really. But that's what I would have liked to do.

Do those things have keys - I would have ripped them out and chucked them into some trees or something.
