Ok this is my first month charting (as title suggests ). I'm a little confused. First of all ff said I o'd around CD22 however due to the temperature dip and high temperature at CD44 it changed it's mind. However since supposedly ovulating two things have happened.

The first is that I have had big lumps of jelly like thick mucus several days in a row which I've never had before. It was mega stretchy and I could roll it about in my fingers and it not leave my fingers wet or sticky. Is this normal and what could it be a sign of?

Secondly, I have had a temperature dip below my coverline for two days in a row then it went back up again a little way. Could it be that ff is wrong and I ovulated later than suggested? I have done hpt and tested negative and my first ever opk today was negative too.

I'm so confused! Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I must agree with FF that it looks like you O'd on CD44.

Try to not read too much into your CM right now. Lots of CM post-O could mean nothing or it could mean you are KU.

Just wait and see what happens with your temps over the next day or two. Hopefully you get a big temp jump tomorrow, or AF comes so you can move on to your next cycle. Waiting around sucks!

I think FF looks right. Sometimes our CM can just do weird things, its hard to make any assumptions just from that. I say wait a week and take a test.
Good luck!

ok so here's an update. FF now doesn't know when I ovulated or if I have :( My temps have been really low for the past three days. This is so confusing and horrible :(

hi, from looking at your chart it looks like you may not be ovulating this cycle. has this happened to you before?

Hey hun

your low temps over the last few days looks like the end of your cycle ie AF maybe on her way :( im probably wrong but when your temps dip like that, thats usually what it means or it could be that your not taking your temps at the same time every day before gettingout of bed?
i really hope its not and im keeping my fingers crossed for you :)
xx

I have been really careful to take it at the same time everyday so I'm not sure it would be that. I also have a thermometre on my alarm clock and it's been roughly the same temperature each morning. :( My opks are all very faint as well.

I've never had a regular cycle pattern from as far as I can remember. I remember when I was 13 I had a period for 28days straight which is how I ended up on the pill. Last year I stopped the pill for a little while and I had a long cycle (not as long as this one though) and the doctor just told me to wait and see what happens so I felt I was a lost cause and left it at that. It wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the painful cramping though which I have had for three weeks now and varies from a dull ache with an accompanying back ache to sharp stabbing pains that make me nearly double over which is what I have started to experience this week.

I've booked an appointment to see my gp this week and I'm going to be really pushy about it and see if they can send me for scans or bloodtests to see what is wrong. Fingers crossed!
