So confused i want to cry

Hi ladies i paid for a private gender acan i lied and said i was 15+6 but i was only 15+1 as i was desperate to know they said it was a boy the woman didnt seem very sure she said if the sex is wrong at your 20 week scan we will do a rescan free of charge she showed me what looked to be boy bits but it looked alot smaller than my other 2 boys who i was told where 100% boy at 15 weeks the baby was also being awkward and turning away .


I was worrying so much i booked a gender scan somewhere else and had it at 16+6 on this scan baby was being quite awkward too but she said she was 75% a girl she couldnt see any boys bits and showed us and i couldnt see boy bits either the cord was between legs too so it was quite hard to tell.

I then emailed the first company and said that i have been told that its a girl now and that the lady said i would get a rescan and they emailed back not being very nice and said they would rescan me but if it was a boy then i would have to pay the full price of the scan again (which i cant afford) i emailed the second scan place asking if i could buy the toilet scan pics (i got to chose 2 pics and picked a 4d pic and a profile pic this scan was only a quick 5 min glimpse on offer for £24 but she looked for 10 - 15 mins)

Which one would you believe ? xx

Oh hon, I know how exciting it is to want to know your baby's gender! But I have to be honest - sounds like fate is encouraging you to wait until 20 weeks. If you're 16+6 now (or thereabout), it's right around the corner and then you can know for sure. Personally I wouldn't pay for any more scans or photos... you'll need that money when the baby finally arrives!

I would definitely wait too. I was tempted to get a private scan around 16 weeks, but I decided not to because of it just being too early to tell.

Time will fly by, and then by the time you know the sex it won't even matter that you had to wait a couple weeks!

Just try and be patient! The gender isn't going to change if you have another scan and really its only a few weeks to wait. You'll end up being angry that you spent the money.... Why are you so desperate to know now? Its great to find out and I understand your excitement but wouldn't you be happier waiting and then know for sure?

I use babyvision who scan for gender from 16 weeks, they also check in a 4d preview, and they haven't let me down by being wrong yet.. they are expensive (£85 ish) but they are very good. They would never give a % it's either they are sure or go back for free.. which I have never had to do.
There is another scan place near me that do scans dirt cheap, but they are not very good.. I went once and it just wasn't anywhere near as good as Babyvision.

Hi, huney. I think you should relax and enjoy you pregnancy as it comes. The 20 weeks scan comes much quicker than you think At the moment, it seems like you stressing yourself out for nothing. xx

I just want to know it was a huge surprise pregnancy i was on the contraceptive patch (was waiting to get sterilised as i have terrible pregnancies and spd and hyperemeris in pregnancy and im on meds for postnatal depression) and also have a 4 year old, 22 month old and 9 month old so found it difficult to accept the pregnancy and wanted to know the sex so i could bond more with the baby then after the first scan i started to bond with a boy baby and getting excited to then be told its a girl and now im terrified incase i bond with a girl and then it turns out to be a boy again, i dont mind either way what it is but i just need to know they showed me the baby in 4d at both places too, mt 20 week scan isnt until the middle of october xx

If you don't want to be disappointed, try not to bond with a specific gender until you get your next scan. I understand you but it is just a shame that you have paid for something that is supposed to make it better but is making you feel worse. My advice is still the same,just relax and enjoy the pregnancy as it comes I know, not easy particularly with those stupid hormones !! xxx hugs xxx

I just feel annoyed that we have paid for 2 scans and we still dont know and the first compant i went with (babybond) wont help i emailed them and they where so rude to me and said that i lied about what the sonographer said, she did say i would have a rescan for free if the sex came out as something else the whole point of me having the scan was to start getting things done early as we have xmas and 2 of my childrens birthdays are close to xmas x

I would wait til 20 weeks. I had two doctors saying it looked like a boy up until 16 weeks, and then at my scan at 22 weeks we found out it was a girl. I also know someone who paid for a gender scan at around 16-17 weeks and they said boy, and when the baby was born it was a girl. I would wait because all babies look like boys early on due to the clitoris looking like a penis.
