Well we took dummies off our daughter on thursday her 3rd birthday. Me and oh said we would take them off he all together from then. Its now on 4th day she hasnt had one. First few days she asked for one but we just ignored her or i would change the subject and start playing with her. Well the last 2 days she hasnt even asked for one. So hoping she has forgot about them now lol.

Its been easier than i thought. Thought she would be a right pain specially with doing it cold turkey

Yay!! We did the same with our LO, just went cold turkey few days before he turned 3. It wasn't to bad at all and by night 3 all forgotten. I think it depends on the child but sounds like you were fairly lucky like we were. Xx

Both kids without dummies now yay lol. Lucas refused to take one just after his 1st birthday he turns his nose up at one lol
