Someone please tell me I'm not going insane!, I forget everything ATM!. I'll ask DH a question and a minute later I'm asking him the same question again :dohh:

Forgetting if I've fed the dog or not

Me too! Yesterday, I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch a mile away from my work. She calls me when she realizes I'm super late and asks where I am... only then did I realize I was a few minutes from my house (some 20 minutes from work). How I had gone the whole way without remembering where I was going is scary. I've called my husband every name in the phone book, too, until I finally get his actual name out.

He mentioned how forgetful I'm becoming, which is totally out of character for me, and wondered if it was part of the pregnancy. Maybe it is after all!

I'm pretty forgetful as it is tbh but the pregnancy hormones make it a hell of a lot worse! :haha: and don't think that it will get better after it doesn't! :dohh: when you add a new born and tiredness into the mix (mombie syndrome :haha: ) with those amazing hormones! Sheesh! :haha: it does eventually get better though :p haha
For me it's not just forgetfulness I get with pregnancy I get so ditsy it's unreal :dohh: I even get so bad that I sometimes can't get my words out properly and my sentences just become mush :haha: my oh finds it highly amusing :dohh: :haha:

I feel like my brain is turning to mush! Last week I went to the store for oil.....on my 3rd trip of going back in to the store from the parking lot I realized on my way in the driveway I still didn't have oil. :dohh:
OH is constantly turning the stove off after I used it, closing the door I left open, asking if my fish got fed. My boss is constantly reminding me of things on my daily to do list. I forget what I'm talking about mid sentence! I can only imagine it will get worse! It's going to be a long few months

Glad I'm not alone lol!, still feeling like a crazy person. I can't imagine how bad my memory will be when I've get a newborn to care for lol

Baby brain!!
Its a well documented part of pregnancy!! And its defiantly one of my most prominent pregnancy symptoms!!!
I'm getting people laugh at me all day at work as i'm just making such silly mistakes! (Wondering if I can use it as an actual excuse in my upcoming appraisal??) ;)

It's getting to be a serious problem for me. I'm now 24 weeks and if I don't write things down I'll forget them a second later. I can't even talk right because I've seemingly forgotten 2/3 of my vocabulary (so don't kill me over spelling mistakes please). People who don't know me well tend to get annoyed, and even if I try explaining it to them they still can't be a little more patient with me. Feels like I'm losing my mind!

I think I'm a bit better than I was... although my OH might disagree. I'm still asking what day it is at least 5 times a day, feeding the dog several times a day, I went to the shops twice for fairy liquid the other day and when I got back after forgetting it twice.. I realised I already had a bottle! Still cant remember what I actually needed.

Still though a lot better than I was! For a while Oh was scared to let me out alone. I just wasn't all there at all!

You are definitely not alone! Just yesterday I got home from work at the same time as my husband. We came into the house and asked where the dog was. I had left the dog outside for 4 and a half hours when I came home to let her out on my lunch hour. Doh!!! We had a good laugh about it, as the dog was fine. LOL

Oh my goodness ladies!!, will wonder what exactly makes us go all forgetful???

I've been trying to buy myself a 2015 calendar for the past week -.- I only remember when I get home and see my current calendar

I hope no one minds but some of these posts are really making me giggle!:laugh2:

I keep calling my OH mum for some reason... It was funny at first and now it's just embarrassing:blush:
Plus texting is my saviour so I can tell my OH instant it, otherwise I think.. I'll tell him when I get home, and remember a few days later I never told him:haha:

I am not sure what causes it! If I had to guess, I would think it is because the extra blood flow goes to our uterus and is diverted from our brains, hence the cognitive difficulties! Just a guess though. :)

I've gotten bad with this. Heck just last night I sent a text to a good friend to call today if she had time. She called me earlier and I had no idea why I asked her to call. Oops. I also forgot what I was saying mid conversation with her.

My latest faux pas is that I couldn't find my keys to leave the house to go back to work after my lunch. I looked in the door and they were still in the key hole! Doh! LOL
