& I have no idea what a nub is, what it does/means, or if you can see my babys clearly.. but here's my 12+3 scan from today anyway :happydance:

I'm with you. I don't get the nub guesses. I'm always so clueless!

Great scan pic though!!

I have no idea hun, but didn't want to r & r! Hopefully someone helpful will be along in a minute lol!

lol. I have no clue either but it still makes me happy that I have a scan pic!

My scan appointment is 19 December :-( my first midwife appointment is on weds tho!

It drags so much doesn't it?! Was it a nice feeling seeing the scan?

To be honest, things are so much different this time around! With my first I remember having to drink loads of water & being sent to a special ultrasound room.. it was really nice & made it much more special.. the one on one quality time getting to see your baby. This time around I'm going to the same doctors office & they have portable ultrasound machines in the exam room. I get to see the baby fairly often- this is my fourth ultrasound- but its only for a split second & I don't get to see it in there kicking and waving. I wish I could though. THAT is absolutely amazing.

I was reading up on the nub thing on several posts. It is a little hard to see on your scan (though it is an awesome scan). It looks like the nub is pointing up, which seems to mean a boy, if the whole theory is correct.

I have just started reading about it though, so I really don't know.

Yeah its tricky to tell cos of the measurement line...hazarding a guess i'd say boy, but could be wrong xx

I'm so curious about how you girls are seeing this!!!!

So where exactly should I look to see which way it's pointing. I don't even see the nub!!
