So miserable

I woke up with a horrible cold and I feel guilty that I took robitussin. The pharmacist said it was fine and I looked online since I cant get a hold of my ob. I guess I feel guilty because its obviously better not to take anything. Are there any natural remedies that actually work??

I'm not too sure..maybe you'll get rid of it faster tho! I've had my cold since last Saturday and while it's getting better it's still lingering and I know it's because I haven't taken anything to stop it..I know you can take plain Robitussin tho so I'm sure you're fine and I think it's better for mamma to be healthy anyways..I was just too chicken to take anything.

My doctor told me it was fine to take plain robitussin so try not to worry too much as far as natural remedies lots of rest and fluids never hurt

My doctor told me the only thing to take is benadryl if i feel crummy but i may e different i have heart problems as well as being pregnant

The robitussin has helped I only took it twice but I do feel a little better I hope I can get a good nights rest. Thanks guys my heart is a little slow because I had an infection travel in my blood stream to my heart a few years ago. My biggest problem is my blood pressure drops way below normal when I sleep but I havent had a restrictions.

i can take up to 7 diff meds on any given day.i think i was on about 11 before i knew i was preg.unfortunately some of us need meds during pregnancy to keep health conditions under control.so i wouldnt feel guilty about a bit of medication for a cold.

There is NO cold medicine in Japan. It's such a nightmare when you do feel sick. :/ I usually use a dehumidifier, eat lots of fruit, and sleep as much as I can. Vix vapor rub on the chest feels amazing too.

I cant imagine having no cold meds right now my hubby is suffering cause he is so sick but the cold meds I bought him have helped.
