A year ago my son was 14 months old and was barely crawling. He had just learned to sit on his own and roll over at 13 months, but could support his weight/cruise a bit if you stood him up against a table. At that time, I had no idea what to expect of him with regards to walking and the docs weren't sure either. He has hypotonia and hypermobility.

Anyway, fast forward a year and my LO just had his first "little kickers" soccer class this morning. :D He has recently started running a bit! He can't kick a ball or jump yet, but you can see it's not far off. :happydance: He struggled with walking for a long time and now look at him! I am just so so proud of my sweet little guy and wanted to share :cloud9:

Ah, well done little bun, you must be very proud of him!

Thanks for reading my thread miss_bump and harveygirl :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

I guess it would be better posted elsewhere though lol.

Why post elsewhere - walking for our little boys is such an achievement and I cry every time Sam takes a step! I love that you post and give me hope - please don't stop.

well done Bun xxx x x

I didn't see the video but it sounds like Bun is doing amazingly, it's so nice to hear as I remember us being in the pregnancy tris at the same time and it's so nice to see other people's LOs grow up and achieve things.

I didn't see the video either but it's lovely to read about Bun's progress. It sounds like he is doing so well with the extra challenges that he has had to face. The Little Kickers class sounds great!

Aww, I missed the video too!

I would have loved to see it. I love seeing Ronan when he runs, until I realize that I actually have to catch him!

I missed it :( it was 1.30 am here when you posted it

Well done Bum, sounds like he's doing great Hun :hugs:

I missed this when it was posted but just saw it in your journal. Bun is doing so well and looked like he loved it! :hugs:
