I just decided to do a frer @ 16 or 17dpo. It's not getting any darker  I think I'm gonna ask if I can get some beta tests done because I'm super worried now.....first pic is 11 or 12 dpo I believe, and second is today's at 16 or 17dpo.....

There should be a pretty noticeable difference in 4 days, right???? :nope:

I can't really be of much help, but didn't want to read and dash.

I've heard that a line is a line and you shouldn't worry because you never know how diluted urine can be from day to day.

If I were you, I would call the doctor and see if you can get betas drawn just for your peace of mind because the extra stress isn't good for you or your little bean.

In my experience, tests have always gotten darker if my pregnancy is progressing the way it should. In saying that, ive definitely read otherwise on these forums.

Best of luck! If getting your levels checked will put your mind at ease, then go for it.

Just wanted to wish you luck with finding out about the progression. Unfortunately I don't have any answers. Fx for you xx

Sorry there isn't progression. I agree there should be. I think it's not a great sign. Hopefully you can get hcg levels drawn. I would stay guarded. Some people have super low betas and perfectly fine pregnancies.

Ok, I feel a *little* better. Here's today's dried...

What do y'all think?

It looks better dried, but I would still ask for the betas to be on the safe side. FXed for a healthy beanie

Sorry hun :hugs: I don't really know much about how to be of help, but I know you must be terribly worried right now. I think there should also be a progression, but the only way to know for sure is to go in to the Dr. Please let us know what happens.

I'm gonna do a fmu test, if its still light I'm calling my OB.... Thanks everyone for the well wishes ❤ I'll update asap

This pregnancy im currently in the lines were showing up within time limit but I couldn't tell there was progression until the test dried. Completely different from my pregnancy with my son as lines looked darker instantly every test I took. With my chemical my lines were only there 2 days very faint and seemed to get lighter the second day. So I guess I wouldn't count yourself our yet. You could ask for a beta to ease your mind. Good luck to you.

I am unbelievably disappointed with FRER right now. these two I took with SMU, same sample. I'm still a little worried because I would think by now the test should be as dark as the control but look at the difference in the lines. FRER is almost non existent and VeriQuick has the darkest line I've ever gotten(so far) on them. So there seems to be progression on the VeriQuicks and the FRER are so yoyo that's it's making my damn hair fall out!! I'm done buying FRER, forever. ugh... I got 12 VeriQuick to test daily for progression and Monday I will still call my doctor about betas. I'm still worried because either way I think it should be much darker...

I wonder if I got one of the FRER that come with the digital test, if that would make a difference because it's an old style frer. As we all know, the new curved handle frer suck right now and I've seen SO many people get false hopes from them and so many people get false negatives, it's unreal :(

Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they exactly the same as the old style frer? TIA

The new ones are far less sensitive, but I had good progression with them. I was tripling though so can't say much about what a singleton progression should look like. The tests dry nicely. Can you line up all of your dried tests for comparison? A lot of things could factor into why your tears are not as dark as you would like (low implant; doubling; urine concentration). I'll grab my progression pic in s sec. But definitely go in for betas and maybe stick to the dollar trees or frers just every other day

When you look at them every day the progression is hard to see. Hugs. So definitely go in and get the betas to be safe but don't panic just yet

I had progression on the new frer just like the old. But I felt like the early days and faint lines were not so good. I felt like early on with the old style early and faint tests were always easier to see and better progression. But they showed good progression overall. Sorry your tests aren't darker. I agree with dobby you should get your levels checked. I'd assume they are very low with the darkness of the test. But you won't know unless you get them checked.

Afternoon test... it looks even better than this mornings!!!
