sorry just a bit of a brag post.
i didnt have any success with ds1 and only breast fed for a week then switched to expressing for another 3 before switching to ff.
i really wanted to give it another go this time, and with the help of a lactation support worker and the local bf group i have hit my target of 8 weeks. so proud of myself for sticking with it and working through the latch issues, thrush, and over supply and fast letdown.
my little dude had his 8 week check today and has gone from 8lb1 at birth to 12lb 12oz.
im loving bf this time round even with him feeding every 2 hrs. before he was here i could only see myself doing it for a max of 12 weeks or so and didnt fancy doing it past 6 months, (i didnt like the thought of personally feeding an older child) but now i just want to feed as long as he needs it.
