So i went into the docs yesterday. My level went up 50 or so in like 4 days but he still said he basically wanted to do a D and C next week. I called my old OB to see if they had done any HCG draws on my first pregnancy and they hadn't. They basically said I got a positive test at the Health dept and they took it from there.. I saw him once went for a u/s and found out I was 8 weeks and 4 days by babies size. So I am going back to see him on Tuesday to get a second opinion. I was sitting in the docs I have been seeing and he just got done telling me that he can't see anything on a u/s until levels reach at least 1000. So I asked him what the chance this was a vanishing twin case and he says it cant be cause he can't see anything on the u/s. Wait a minute.. A tad bit contradicting doncha think? I just dont get it.. I had way worse pain with my ectopic 3 months ago and my levels were 1/3 of what they are this time.. No pain at all.. No bleeding except for a little spotting a week ago.. We shall see what the doc says on Tuesday **keeps fingers crossed**

What are your levels and how far along are you supposed to be? I never think a second opinion is a bad thing. Good Luck to you hun!!!

I didnt ovulate until the week of xmas.. so I cant be even a full month since conception yet.. approx 15 DPO my levels were 417 at 17 DPO it was 611 then 20 DPO it dropped to 399. 24 DPO it was up to either 439 or 459 cant remember that middle number for sure for some reason. I had some spotting when I had the drop but nothing since then. The OB I was seeing just said something yesterday about now the u/s guys were saying something about a possible abnormal shaped uterus but I just think that's weird as nothing has been said before..
