sodium bicarbonate in bottled water?

Noticed the water I am drinking to stay hydrated, since hydration is important in pregnancy, has sodium bicarbonate in it. When I looked it up, sodium bicarbonate is a category c in pregnancy. What the heck? Anyone have any insight?

Well I might just be being dumb. Lol is sodium bicarbonate the sodium found in food? I thought that was sodium chloride. Is it really just baking soda? I can't see.baking soda being a problem in pregnancy. Lol

Sodium bicarbonate is just baking soda. Weird that it's category c.
