I've noticed Thomas' soft spot (on the top of his head) pulses and dips slightly when he is sat upright (I was just winding him), any ideas if this is normal as I know this is an indicator of dehydration and other issues so am a bit worried.
His soft spot isn't visable and can't be felt when he is lay down so I'm not sure if it is a problem or not.
He has been feeding fine today, plenty of wet nappies as usual and seems fine in himself.
Any ideas?

I noticed Sam's soft spot pulsing when he was about a month old - it still does and apparently it's normal!

Freaked me out a bit at first!

Sorry, not sure, but I think/hope it's normal as my LOs is the same...

Thanks ladies.

I've just been looking online and it does mention on a few pages that the pulsing is normal, just another thing no one tells you to expect with a baby I guess!

Yeah it's totally normal and totally gross! It can be a sign on dehydration by you would know more by a lack of fluid intake and dry diapers. They say if the spot "fills up" when lying down or in a changed position then that's VERY normal.

The pulsing is normal but I think when it dips it means baby is dehydrated.
