Just tried softcups for the first time and was also disappointed with the leakage Boo! Not sure if it went in right but I thought it had and it was straight after the deed so not sure what went wrong... someone said insert horizontally? How is that possible? Grateful for any tips softcup users

hmm, we didn't have much leakage at all when using them last week. and that was our first shot. i did hear and there, but not noticeable enough.

I am hoping that cycle 7+ is the charm!

No-you have to PULL OUT horizontally-so to speak, to go in they should kind of go back and down-hard to explain but if you google the video it really hellps. But sometimes I have no leakage and other times lots......I don't get it either. Can't figure out where the difference is.

Anyone hear anything from Lynne yet?

Whit, congrats once again - i know how nervous you must be...but I guess that's part of the journey to becoming a mother!

Titi - if you are concerned about softcups, you could skip using them for a couple of BD sessions..just to make you feel better. I sometimes "check" to see if the cervix is actually inside and not outside the softcup cause i keep imagining that i may be blocking the spermies too!

As for me, this cycle is over before it even started We had guests at home, and i think I ovulated super early at day 10. We didnt get in even one BD session, so there goes another month wasted. Oh well it was nt like anything was happening with regular BD sessions either

Oh and have i mentioned, you girls are all wonderful

aw Keyahopes-you are wonderful too! How come you think you ov'd early? Is that normal? I ov pretty early myself but never day 10 I don't think. I hope you didn't-are you still BD in case?

We bd'd about 5 times this cycle and I used my diva cup 2x and my softcup once and didn't use anything the other time-so we'll see!

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on these?

im thinking of getting them for next cycle but im having doubts as I it seems hard getting them in and out ...

they seem big to be honest to get in and out

has anyone got any tips on getting them in and out, or experiences with them....

Hi CLH_X3,

They are SUPER easy to get in and out. They couldn't be easier to get in-just kinda fold in half and its like they almost get sucked in there by themselves. As for getting them out-it only seems hard if girls try and pull them straight down. But if you sit on the loo and reach in there and loop your longest finger around the rim, and then pull out horizontally, (like you are trying to keep the cup upright like a bowl of soup you don't want to spill), its not a problem at all. The best thing to do is go to the instead website and watch their video.

I agree with Titi. I was the kind who was super scared to put anything other than "ahem" inside. But watching the video really helped. It helps when you are really wet down there. I usually put it in lying down. If it sticks out a bit, i give it a shove and it just disappears!! Remove it like Titi suggested - sitting on the loo. Hook your finger under the rim and slide it out.
I think you'll be an expert in no time!!

Titi - your strategy sounds good - i think you have your bases covered. Wantingagirl and Jaime, i think 3rd time will definitely be lucky

Day 10 is definitely early for me too, I only go by EWCM and Ov pains. I am not 100 % sure if i did ov, but I know my body is just waiting to trick me We are BD just in case. Here's hoping for all of us....

P.S - anyone using preseed with softcups?

i'm with titi as well. i thought the same as you at first, but getting them in was simple and getting them out was even more simple!
