sooo very tired....

Well our man is 1 week old today and I am so tired. last night was a nightmare and I fed from 8:30 till 12:30 then had an unsettled hour then slept for 2 hours then fed again from 3:30-7!! I am so knackered I'm ok in the day but nights like this I jsut want to scream and cry and it's only because I'm tired. Don't know what I expect from this post I suppose I just want to know I'm not the only one that has a new baby that feeds like this? my daughter was never this demanding...which I suppose is why we struggled so much to feed at first.

Don't fret this was me this time last week but it's settled down a bit now, just nap when he does if you get a chance and try to feed more in the day so he's not as hungry at night.

give it time - my dd had a rough day 10 when she didnt sleep ujntil 8am the next morning, feeding all night long - its prob a growth spurt and should settle down.

yep the first couple of weeks had a few horrendous nights.

My LO is three weeks old today and I swear he's had them many growth spurts!!! I've had many nights where he has literally fed right through the night until about 7am, plus even when he's not on a growth spurt he will only go 1.5 - 2 hours between feeds.

Hang on in there, I managed to get through it so I'm sure you can too, I think it's right that it does get easier as time goes on!
