Sophie the Giraffe teething toy - any good? UPDATED WITH PIC!

Thanks for this thread I'd never heard of them before and was looking at buying my lo a few new teethers .I got one off ebay and its arrived today .Isla my 5 month old really really loves it , and i love it .its really cute . thanks x
 
Aisling with her new Sophie! She seems to enjoy chewing it, hasn't quite figured out now to keep it in her mouth yet though. This is the most interest she's shown in chewing anything other than her and our hands! :D

I was thinking I didn't know they squeaked! I didn't realise it was harder plastic. I think I would rather get a softer one, I don't know.

Why are they all giraffes?!
 
Yeah, it's very soft rubber, I think that's why young babies like it? So far as I know they tend to be giraffes because of the shape, lots of bits to hold onto and chew...
 
The legs and arms are easy for LOs to hold on to. The spots (including eyes) are contrasting to the 'skin' of the giraffe, which appeals to young babies. The soft texture of the rubber feels good on the gums.

It also has a cause and effect with the squeaker. :)
