sorry a little rant....

my mom has been so annoying lately! I said I wish quintin could crawl and shes like "well maybe you shouldn't carry him all the time" so I put him down and he falls over, and my family acts like I'm not paying action to him
then I was feeding him dinner.. quin has dinner without his clothes on cause I was tired of stained clothes anyway then after dinner he goes right into the bath anyway... well my moms was like "I never let my kids get that messy when eating" what does it matter? hes about to have a bath!!
then today, I was telling her about how quintin isn't sleeping well at night, and hes like "well maybe he needs to sleep in his own bed" ( I have been asking for a few days now for her to come by and help me lower his crib so I can put him in there again)

also my 2 brothers slept in my moms bed till they were like 10years old

Aww, he's got ages yet to start crawling. Enjoy it while you can..once they start crawling it's trouble time. Liam fell down the step into our kitchen yesterday because I forgot I had taken the stair gate off when I went for a bath and Liam was in his carseat so it made it easier to get him back into the living room.
I only took my eyes off him for 10 seconds!!

Liam makes a right mess when he eats (We BLW wean though) I have to spoon feed him his yoghurts because he throws the spoon.

But I live with her. She is not helping by helping TOO much
And everyone says " I wish I had help when my baby was little"
Well they all had husbands.
My mom wont tell me some thing she will talk to Lyrik right in front of me and say
"Lyrik where's your hat you need a hat " Or " tell mommy your hungry" after I just feed her.
SOO annoying.

Ahhhh my mom and OH's mom are the exact same. If my, now toddler, gets into something... my mom says "Elyse who's watching you!!" -- meanwhile my mom pretty well refuses to babyproof her house, like nothing 'dangerous' is within her reach but she can open the pantry door and take out cans, boxes, etc.. she can pull DVDs and stuff off the shelf...

I don't live with her anymore and she texts me saying "it's cold and windy dress Elyse warm today".... thanks tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my mum is great coming to think of it. she lets me do as im doing. its me thats usually like do u think shel be too cold if i put this on her. or il ask her if she'd be to warm if i put a coat on her with her footmuff and blanket haha.

its OH's mum that is constantly at us. barry will be throwin ava up or playin with her and shes like watch! be careful! dont do that! we went for tea saturday and i gave ava carrot sticks for her teeth and so she wasnt anoyed wen we was eating and she wasnt and she was like should u be givin her that so young. then gave her her tea and a yogurt ad she went off on one over the yogurt how i shouldnt be givin her one because of this and that and shes far too young. 5mins later once she finished i managed to tell her petis filous state from weaning. she makes out like i dont have a clue wot im doing!
also im sick of her moaning how cold ava will get when her pants arent on. i take avas pants off wen shes havin a kick about to help her and mkae it easier. its like once her legs get bloody cold il put her pants back on!

they think we dont have a clue what were doing! WE DO WE KNOW BEST =D X

He's a baby- he's bound to get messy lol! And he has ages to start crawling! Mothers (and other relatives) are so annoying sometimes. If my grandmother notices I've put odd socks on Isaac, she sneakily changes his socks to a proper pair behind my back! It's like... duuudddeee... it doesn't matter if the socks are odd, as long as his feet are warm!

Babies are messy i actually find them cute when they are covered in food lol! Can't wait til Jayden starting eating the jars yummm.

My parents dont half p*ss me off at times too, they act like we have no common sense, i'm sure they mean well but.. lol. xx

Rome! Sorry your mom is being such a pain. I guess that's what moms are for, (to give us unwanted advice). If it makes you feel any better my mom and dad are both like that. They are constantly getting on my case about how Kenny is spoiled because I'm always picking him up and carrying him around and won't let him 'cry it out'. Anyways, just ignore her.. your doing your best for your son and at the end of the day you're his momma, she's not!! You're doing everything just fine!

I agree Callie! My mom is EXACTLY the same!! He'll be crying and I'll be upstairs like in the bathroom or just getting something and she'll be like "Where's your mommy? Why isn't she feeding you? She's a bad mommy". And I'm like, wow seriously! GIVE ME A BREAK. Rome you've set us both on a rant!!
