Has anyone ate spicy foods an had really bad diarrea? Yesterday I guess my stomache didnt agree and was pretty much upset all day causing me diarrea/loose stools. It was really uncomfortable. I went to the bathroom probably about 6 times yesterday an two today. So it seems to get better. Ill never eat spicy foods again. if this has happened to you how long did it take before you were normal?

With my 2nd DS I craved spicy food like nobody's business! I always had diahrrea and a stomache ache lol (my own fault). But usually by the next night it should be better :)

I ate it yesterday morning/afternoon an its 7pm ..I'm still having it an upset stomache

Awwww I hope you feel better by tonight or tomorrow morning! If it still isn't better by tomorrow night I would call your OB and see if there is anything you can take for it :)

I eat lots of spicy food and haven't had any diarrhoea at all. Maybe affects different pregnancies differently? I'd actually be devastated if I couldn't eat spicy food! I love spicy food!

I just dont get why I would feel like this for more than a day. I dont know how much longer I can take it. Its so painful and uncomfortable. She said tylonel (I even got the extra strength) and it doesnt seem to be working :(

Yea, that sucks that spicy food is giving you problems. I LOVE spicy food and I don't know what I would do without it. I don't get diarrea but the usual constapation if I don't drink enough water.

I had several episodes of diarhhoea and stomach cramps during first trimester. I took Smecta, it worked very effectively. It stopped the cramps and diarrhoea in 2-3 doses. But I am not sure if Smecta is available for you, you may consult your pharmacist or Dr.
If not, take oral rehydration salts to keep yourself hydrated, at least you won't feel so weak.

Hmm, if it is lasting awhile it might not be the spicy foods' fault. Could be regular old pregnancy diarrhea, or some other problem with the food not related to the spiciness. I often get diarrhea if I eat something spicy, but it is usually goes away after one or two trips to the toilet--just as soon as the offending spicy stuff has moved out of the intestines.
