Spicy wedges :-)

OMG I made spicy wedges for my tea this evening and I could have ate a mountain of them!!!!! Sour cream and chive dip, flip I was in heaven!! Think my hunger has kicked in!!

Are wedges like fries (in the US?) But the thick, meaty kind? ugh...now I want fries!! Darn you!!

wedges are potatoes cut into a wedge shape, (like the segment of an orange,) covered in spices n roasted in the oven, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, delicious!!!!

However saying that I have been killed with heartburn all night!! But it was worth it!!!!

Ooh don't! It's only breakfast time here and now I'll be wanting them all day Luckily I brought a couple of packs of the ready-mixed spices for them back from the UK when I visited last so this is one thing I can satisfy!

After reading this thread the other day I have craved spicy wedges since!!

Took my little boy to school this morning and called at the shop to pick some up. Have just put them in the oven for dinner :yummy: Got a feeling the heartburn is going to creep up on me this afternoon though!
