Have any of you experienced severe back pain since you had yours?

I had a spinal block in surgery to repair quite a bad tear after birth and since then my back has been in agony, is this a side effect?

I have my 6 week check next week so I will mention it to my doctor but I was just wondering does anyone else have this?

I had an epidural and whilst I haven't had back pain, I still have a bit of numbness in a small area in the top of my right leg. It has eased a bit though. I am hoping it will remedy itself soon.

No, fortunately I haven't experienced back pain due to my epidural and spinal blocks. :)

I had weird back pain where I got my epidural when I tried to do crunches or stretched backward but it went away completely after about 2 months.

When I had my epidural, my back hurt for quite a while. I was also adjusting to carrying an almost 8 pound baby everywhere, and always bending over to change diapers/clothes, however I could actually feel the exact spot the needle went in.
This lasted maybe about 4 months for me, then completely went away. Of course, I still have some normal back pain as my little ham is about 20 pounds now!

I had a spinal as i had a third degree tear and needed stitches. My back hurt for maybe about 10 days after. It's ok now tbh. It was really cold here though the other day and found it to be niggling me a bit. Do you have to go for physio (aswell as the dr's) at 6 weeks? I'd mention it to them.

I had an epidural and my backs so sore to the point sometimes i can barely bend over to pick up Lexi. And it's still quite swollen so i've been smothering myself in bio freeze and arnica cream.

I am almost 3 years on from having a spinal block and still have a lot of back problems. I know that this is due to the spinal as when they gave it to me it hit the nerve. My Dr said 9 times out of 10 it will sort itself out though. Looks like i am the odd 1 :(

yes i had a spinal as i had a forceps delivery and my back is constantly aching (i never really made the connection till i read your post). in the morning i am in agony but it does get better as the day goes on but i am soooo stiff. i feel like an old woman now! i am thinking of getting physio.

 hope you feel better soon and have success at the docs.
